There are very few charges involved with the design and marketing process. For web design, the initial fee is the fee for developing and designing the web site. Upon agreeing to the terms of the project, a contract is signed and half of the initial fee is due. The other half is due upon completion of the web site prior to going 'live' with the web site. The only other fee for a web site is your monthly web hosting fee. The web hosting fee is typically between $15.00 and $50.00 per month. For marketing, the initial fee is usually accompanied by a monthly fee that supports the ongoing cost of marketing. Most of the time, we do marketing on a month to month basis or in six month blocks. For marketing, 100% of the balance is due upon agreeing to the terms of the project and signature of the contract.
The first step in our web design process is the FREE initial consultation. One of our friendly web experts will contact you by phone or come to your place of business. He or she will ask questions that will help us get an idea of how your business works, how your industry works and what your goals are for your web site. After agreeing on the terms of the project and signing the contract, we go to work developing your web site. We build the site structure, page structure, any needed graphics and any needed content, then put it all together. We will remain in close contact with you and your company during this phase to help ensure that the end results meets all of your expectations. After the site is complete, you will be asked to give final approval. At this point, we collect the remainder of the balance due and your web site is published to the internet.
Changes to your web site can be made by either your company or by us. If you choose to have us update your web site, we will go over our monthly maintenance plans with you and present all options. Web site maintenance is a very affordable way to keep your site up-to-date and fresh!
After your initial fee, the only charge you will get from us under normal circumstances is your monthly web hosting fee. This covers the hosting of your web site and all e-mail addresses attached to it. If you would like us to do web site maintenance we can talk to you about our maintenance plans, however, you will not be charged for those unless you ask for them.
